Headcanon time!

With drawing wips of Si'ha Nova at the end :] 🎣

The journey of Traveler, Leda and Si’ha to becoming what we know today.

I came up with an idea (more like a story plot) because I'm bored of waiting for some lore.

Melosia Realms is one of the most important Danceverses as is the “most close one” to Floworld, this gives them not only knowledge but power over others. However the fact that they can interact with the flow doesn't mean that they can control it so to keep their position as the most powerful of the Danceverses they expanded their knowledge and became the most powerful magic users. So to summarize: 

Flow users: born with it, still need training but they can perfectly overpass magic users if time is given.

 Magic users: needs to be learned, which is complicated if you aren’t born there.

Now, this has been happening for centuries. The level of magic that they use is impossible to reach unless you live 10 times longer than normal. This characteristic was something in Melosia Realms that was already resolved thanks to their enchantments which with the past of time started to blend with its users meaning that some families' descendants would naturally be born with unique powers and live longer, one of them being Si’ha family.

I have to add that even if they are the most powerful Danceverse they still have a strict rule to not abuse their powers. 

“ To whoever uses their powers without thinking in the consequences of their actions will be banished from the realms”

With all things considered, you can have an idea on how many problems did The Traveler involved. But first, their story.

Travel was a student of the magics of Meloisa Realms that was trying to level up his position as just one of the various powerful coaches around there. The requirements to study were becoming semi immortals (which meant if they had family with a normal life span then they would over live them, which was the case of The Traveler) and to have a close connection to the flow or be a powerful subject of magic. (Rare) 

There, Traveler and Si’ha meet. 

They weren’t exactly friends but they were both interested in the study of the other Danceverses so they became searching partners. Even so, that was the only thing both shared, Si’ha wanted to  form part of the government as a counsillor and she was already working on it, on the other hand Traveler still didn’t know what to do. But that changed when he created Discoball. 

Oh, yeah, also when he for some reason thinked that contacting the forbidden planet (Earth) was a good idea.

And then bringed some random girl to the Danceverses.

He probably was going to be exiled from Meloisa Realms if Si’ha didn’t save his ass at the last minute by showing to the gods Leda natural ability to interact with the flow (and of course the three of them omitted the part where she is able to open portals). Of course after that Si’ha made Traveler promise her that if another thing happened no one would come to help.

As we know, Leda and Traveler have a strong relationship ending up in them dating. HOWEVER I REFUSE TO SAY THAT CHILD IS HIS, SO JACK IS JUST SOME RANDOM KID THAT ENDED THERE THE SAME WAY LEDA DID BECAUSE BOTH OF THEM STILL ACTED IRRESPONSABLE.

They keep Jack, but this time Traveler admits that he was immature and wanted to bring Jack back home. Meanwhile Leda wants to keep Jack as she thinks she is doing him a favor by making him stay in the Danceverses. They are still together and things calm down (of course Jack is kept as a secret) until Cygnus shows Leda the vision about her becoming the ruler of the Danceverses (that’s how she interprets it). Then things get bad, REALLY BAD. 

Traveler searches for Leda as he doesn’t know about the vision, and when he is questioned by the gods on how he could have lost her then it’s revealed that she knew how to open portals. Although he isn’t exiled on the spot, he’s  told to not only bring Jack back to Earth but also Leda, and if he was successful on his mission then maybe he would be pardoned. 

Don’t mind me, I just like to fill up the gaps of the storyline with my own headcanons.

Also, I guess this Is like part 1?

more NegaPosi angler thoughts…🎣

practically dissecting the entire scene (as painful as it is) atp but i simply can’t get over the way their body language and expressions are animated throughout their argument and compiled all the random little things that just… really got to me (⬆️). like. how it starts off so subtle, with an averted gaze, some fidgeting. and it keeps us on edge, bc we know they’re bound to reach a breaking point if they keep chipping away at each other’s patience (spoiler they do, a few secs later—)

(what’s also so satisfying to me is how clean and consistent the animation has been overall and im not exaggerating when i say each frame is screenshot-worthy. gotta appreciate a top tier animation especially for such an underrated gem ; its one of the many strengths of the series and i had to point that out even tho it’s not really what i wanted to talk abt in this very self-indulgent post)

indeed there were times where i was momentarily distracted and couldn’t rly focus on the dialogues so i had to replay some parts—and im not ashamed to admit it was whenever takaaki was on screen. cuz i was too busy staring at him and his lethal face card—(actually that’s been my problem in every episode since he’s been introduced, seriously, he’s attractive as fuck, and his voice and its playful, velvety lilt is to die for, ok? but. it’s different in that episode’s case)

bc i believe this is the first time we’re seeing takaaki looking so pained and angry and violent after having known him for almost ten eps out of twelve being sunshine incarnate and the sweetest guy you could ever imagine—and it shook me to my core.

im a simple person. basically, kind characters who’ve always been depicted as cheerful and carefree (often wth a sad backstory and traumatic past) who suddenly find themselves wth said past catching up to them and you can see the very moment their facade starts to crumble apart—that shit does smth to me and boy do i eat it up every goddam time. it hurts so good.

so yeah seeing that kind of devastated look on takaaki’s face caused me the emotional whiplash of the century and im positive it also chemically altered sth in my brain.

mind you this is all without mentioning how he was fighting with a (dying) person who means so much to him and whom he cares about more than anything and how it must’ve been tearing him apart to hear those words coming out of hiro’s mouth with his little brother’s death still plaguing him and—

post-episode 9 rambles (this might be my favourite episode so far) 🎣

Like. A whole episode, entirely carried by the immaculate chemistry between the whole gang? I'm gonna just ramble for a sec about my thoughts so...

I just love how simple the setup is. Everyone is stuck in one room and we just watch how they hang out. And they were all so goofy!! Like...

Just. Doing random shit with your friends and laughing about way too hard is just so real and down to earth and relatable. I don't have the words but watching this episode just made me really happy and I'm hoping to finally be able to do some writing. Wich like... I've been struggling with portraying their group dynamic and this episode was basically a master class on just that.

Am I the only one who thought that call was sus? Maybe it's just me overthinking because I really want that background info on Takaaki. Speaking of Takaaki...

I know that this wasn't intended like that but... Look at the way he looks at Hiro T-T They make me F E E L things okay. I love him so much. They're literally golden retriever boyfriend and cat also boyfriend. IT'S CANON TRUST ME BRO

Also just happy Tsunehiro. All that talk about how he feels about fishing? I just. Idk. I said this before but it was just so relatable. Not about fishing specifically, but doing something tedious and feeling that content kind of tired? Yeah. That hit home for me somehow.

I just kept finding myself thinking "Yeah. I've been there. I felt like that before" over and over and over again. Even in the smaller moments. For example when they all start eating together and Arua is still at the stove. He doesn't feel disconnected from them. When we focus on him we can still hear the other in the background, just like he is and. Yeah. I've been there. Standing in the kitchen, cooking for friends while they talk and goof off and I'm just content inhabiting the same space. I've sat in a car and everyone is talking over each other and I just realize how fun this moment is. And ugh. They just feal so tangible to me.

The episode was also just plain funny imo. The three loan sharks showing up? And they pull groceries out of literally nowhere?? It's so unserious and I love it. Also love the loan sharks (do we know their names??)

Yeah. I think... That's all the immediate rambles I have. Definetly my favourite episode so far. I fucking love how this episode is basically a character study.

That being said... This episode also established their current status quo. Everyone feels good and content. I am waiting for the other shoe to drop. The whole "I have only two years to live"-thing is just hovering above everything and the longer they don't address it the more it stresses me out.

Because yes. They're friends and close and enjoy each other's company... But one thing I noticed this episode is that Hiro doesn't call Hana and Takaaki by their given names. He still calls them Tsutsujimori and Ayukawa, while they call him Tsunehiro (or just Hiro in Takaaki's case). It feels very symbolic to me of how he's not ready to really let them in yet. But I don't know if this has been a consitent thing or not. It just stood out to me when the three of them were talking.

I really love this show man so thank you for indulging my first impression rambles. Now, I feel like there's a cute missing scene here where Takaaki and Hiro go home together after this. We'll see if I can finally get over my block and finish another One-Shot.. Wish me luck! 🎣🎣
